Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By accessing or using the MyCardLiaison API and platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Permitted Use
You may use the MyCardLiaison API to check gift card balances and related card data for legitimate business purposes. You must not use the API to facilitate fraud, test card validity at scale without authorisation, scrape card data, or resell raw API access without a white-label agreement.
3. API Keys
You are responsible for keeping your API keys confidential. Do not embed live keys in client-side code or public repositories. You are liable for all usage under your keys.
4. Quota and Billing
Usage beyond your plan quota is billed at the applicable overage rates. Invoices are issued monthly. Accounts with outstanding invoices over 30 days may be suspended.
5. Uptime and SLA
We target 99.99% uptime for Growth and Enterprise plans. In the event of downtime below the SLA threshold, credits will be applied to your account as described in our SLA documentation.
6. Data & Privacy
You agree to our Privacy Policy. You represent that you have the right to submit any card data you send to our API. We will process it as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement with 30 days notice. We may suspend or terminate immediately for material breach (e.g., fraudulent use, non-payment).
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to fees paid in the 3 months prior to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
